    Urban Pathways

The exhibition Urban Pathways is a research in the pursuits of citizens living in an urban space that mention matters of their limitations as well as their desires, issues in interaction with the self and others and the deep desire of change. From Lycosura to Athens of Pericles and from modern capitals to smart cities, cities stand proudly and silently throughout the centuries, welcoming passengers, preserving historical memory, recording the evolution of the human race and embracing the ambition for a city that can be ideal.

According to Aristotle, eudaemonia is the highest good that a city can achieve as it gives individuals the moral advantage of a bidimensional existence. Human beings who live and act as individuals are able to act as citizens, striving to bring eudaemonia all over the city. The artists of the exhibition meditate on the pathways of how people can achieve the utopia of the ideal city that brings hope to all those who are seeking for it and to all those who want to overcome obstacles and wish keep going guided by the perpetual operations of the spirit.
